The Lead Tax Accountant responsibilities include working collaboratively with third party co-source service providers, supporting the quarterly tax provision process, corresponding with taxing authorities in response to notices, working cross-functionally with other corporate functions, and assisting with special projects. A successful Senior Tax Accountant will have excellent time management and communication skills with Big 4 experience.

  •          Self-directed individual with time management skills
  •         Self-motivated individual who is able to embrace and drive change along with continuous improvement culture in order to drive results
  •          Excellent written and communication skills
  •         Strong problem solving skills.
  •         At least 5 years of relevant experience
  •         Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CA/CMA is an advantage.
  •         Knowledge and experience in preparing corporate federal and multistate income tax returns.
  •         Knowledge and experience in ASC 740.
  •         Should possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
  •        Should be a self-starter and a team player.
  •         Experience with OneSource preferred.
  •         Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred.

As The Lead Tax Accountant, you will:

  •         Collaborate with and support third party co-source service providers in preparation of Federal and state income tax returns, extensions, and quarterly estimated tax calculations.
  •         Assist with the quarterly and year-end tax provision process.
  •         Respond to federal, state and local tax notices and assist with income tax audits.
  •         Assist with maintenance of tax filing control list and tax legal entity records.
  •         Assist with the annual maintenance and “roll over” procedures for OneSource software.
  •         Coordinate annual reports and non-income tax filings with outside preparers and internal COE.
  •         Prepare quarterly tax account reconciliations.
  •         Work cross-functionally with other corporate functions.
  •         Assist with special projects as needed.
