What This Position Is All About:
This role is responsible for but not limited to the creation of virtual model merchandise pairing, pathing, retouching, video editing, data tracking, managing and maintaining shortlist and various google sheets, as well as reviewing imagery produced as digital content for our e-commercesite. These images are created by in-house and freelance photographers, as well as being provided by external vendors. The focus of this role is to prepare the images for publication and is primarily responsible for maintaining quality assurance. Any additional required functions will be made using advanced Photoshop techniques such as clipping paths, color matching, eliminating unwantedimperfections such as wrinkles, tears in clothes, dust and rigging tools etc. His/her technical abilities will ensure the consistency and quality of all images processed by the associate.
He/she will have a critical eye for detail, art and composition, and be capable of troubleshooting & reconciling imaging issues independently. This associate will also maintain the image database and prepare image transfers for production applications.
Who You Are:
● Person with attention to detail and measured consistency.
● Extremely organized and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
● Self-motivated and able to work independently without constant supervisory review.
You Also Have:
● A university degree and formal training specifically in graphic arts, printing design or art.
● MAC OS, Photoshop an Illustrator.
● 1-5 years professional experience in a high volume studio environment. Portfolio of sample work required.
● Superior knowledge of Photoshop and excellent photo-retouching skills required.
● Retouching skills include but are not limited to: masking/pathing, background cleanup and/or creation, cropping, color correcting, curves/levels adjustments, liquefying, compositing and using history states
As An Image Editor Your Roles and Responsibilities Will Be :
● Basic editing of images which includes clean / remove dust scratches on images
● Editing of fashion, jewelry, cosmetics and fragrances
● Calibrate and maintain monitors.
