Software Engineer, ETL Integration
Saks Cloud Services is looking for an Integration Developer/Engineer to join the newly formed Integration Services team. In this role you will be responsible for building and managing the integration platforms, process, deployments, and defining the frameworks utilized for integration for the company.
What you will do :
- Drive the highest levels of customer service and stability
- Monitor the environment to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex problems impacting service levels
- Configure alerts on the system to identify issues before they cause system outages.
- Define and manage integration services including ETL integration, Streaming and Rest based services.
- Foster technical and procedural excellence within the IT department for all systems and processes.
- Coordinate with other IT departments to facilitate requirements, objectives, and manage Incidents
- Define and implement data and integration standards across the enterprise
- Focus on automation of data and integration needs across the enterprise
- Participate in after-hours escalations and maintenance as needed
- Partner with IT management and internal customers to communicate and implement necessary changes to keep the integration environments current, stable, and secure
- ETL and BI DevelopmentExtensive experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
- In-depth knowledge of Informatica components, Informatica BDM
- Expertise in Scheduling tools such as Informatica Scheduler, Atomic (UC4), and ESP.
- Oracle PL/SQL Development (20%):
- Design and develop Oracle PL/SQL programs to meet project requirements.
- Database Technologies.
- Experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and extensive knowledge of Snowflake DB and Mainframe platforms.
- Proficient in performance tuning on large data volumes.
- Nice to have: IICS and Snowflake Database knowledge.
Who you are:
- 2+ years of proven information technology experience as an integration professional with a focus on industry standards and best practices
- 2+ years of experience building and maintaining Informatica PowerCenter or BDM ETL platforms
- Experience with integrating IBM Websphere Message Broker, MQ Experience with integrating Mulesoft APIs
- Experience with integrating S3, SQS, Kafka Topics and Akka/AWS streaming platforms preferred
- Experience automating process and procedural workflows for application integration
- Experience with current frameworks for integration
- Experience with Oracle, SQLServer, PostGres, and Snowflake preferred
- Nice to have: Experience with AWS cloud computing preferred
