What This Position Is All About:

As an Environmental Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for the operations of secure and highly available OMS platforms, servers, and networks. You will maintain the ongoing reliability, performance, and support of the OMS infrastructure. This includes monitoring and operating environments; responding to incidents, problems, and planning for growth.

 

Who You Are:

·         Bachelor’s degree or technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent      work experience.

·         Possess a minimum of 3 years relevant experience deploying and/or administrating infrastructure solutions.

·         Requires strong knowledge and experience with multiple infrastructure solutions

·         Proficient in a high-level programming language such as Java or Scala

·         Familiarity with DevOps practices

·         Able to analyze complex data sets

·         Familiar with Release Management, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Integration

·         You have strong analytical and problem solving skills.

·         You have proven ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with multiple assigned projects and tasks.

·         You have outstanding ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing.

You also have:

 

●       Maintains, monitors, and supports the infrastructure environments.

●       Coordinates and works on multiple cross-functional base work initiatives and projects.

●       Diagnoses and resolves complex hardware, software, and connectivity problems.

●       Supports multiple systems or applications of medium to high complexity with multiple         concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility.

●       Acts as the technical liaison between operations team, engineers and architects, providing critical operational insight to upcoming implementations and strategies, including validation of ongoing solutions supportability.

●       Integrates solutions with other applications and platforms based on engineering requirements.

●       Develops new alerts and monitoring techniques based on engineering requirements.

●       Develops scripted solutions and automation.

●       Work with Load and Performance Engineering team to enhance system availability, scalability, performance improvement.

●       Analyzes health check results and provides feedback.

●       Monitors system-operating capacity in terms of disk, space, storage, and CPU utilization.

●       Performs capacity workload modeling and availability analysis for OMS platforms and environments.

●       Helps the team to the benchmark response time of critical transactions and provides a solution to improve the response time.

●       May recommend changes/enhancements for improved systems availability, reliability, and performance.

●       Determines the required course of action to improve performance and escalates when appropriate.

●       Reviews performance and control reports.

●       Develops, maintains, recommends, documents, and supports tools and back-end utilities to provide capacity planning management.

●       Monitors database performance and recommends changes.

●       Participates in testing efforts and coordinates feedback of test results.

●       Recommends performance metrics.

●       Writes reviews and/or maintains technical design documentation for OMS environments.

●       Ensures documentation is developed and maintained.

 

As the Sr Environmental, you will:

 

●       Experience in designing or delivering order management and fulfillment solution.

●       Experience with Web SOM/COM development framework.

●       Experience with UI framework like angular and DOJO.

●       Experience with OMS Agent and integration servers.

●       Well versed in the multichannel order management area
