Day In The Life:
Hudson’s Bay is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic team in the retail industry. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the success of our retail products throughout their lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product strategies, develop roadmaps, and oversee the execution of product plans. The ideal candidate has a strong background in retail, a deep understanding of consumer behavior, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
What You Will Do:
- Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with business goals, market trends, and customer needs in the retail industry.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitors, and opportunities for product innovation.
- Roadmap Development: Create and manage product roadmaps that prioritize features, enhancements, and new product launches based on customer insights and business objectives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with design, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to define product requirements, ensure timely delivery, and maximize product adoption.
- Product Development: Lead the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products on time and within budget.
- User Experience: Advocate for exceptional user experiences by conducting user testing, gathering feedback, and iterating on product designs and features.
- Metrics and Analysis: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product performance.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate product plans, progress, and results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executives.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and ensure our products remain innovative and competitive.
- Product Launches: Plan and execute product launches, including marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and training materials for internal teams and external customers.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in the retail industry, with a track record of successfully launching and managing products.
- Strong understanding of retail industry dynamics, consumer behavior, and market trends.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive product decisions.
- Solid project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with agile product development methodologies and tools.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results in a collaborative environment.
- Experience in leveraging digital marketing channels such as social media, email marketing, content marketing, and SEO/SEM to promote retail products.
